Easy-to-follow Saving Tips

I decided to something a little different today because people everywhere seemed to be having trouble with money. I wanted to drop some helpful tips about saving. I really hope that these tips help you as much as they have helped me.

Wealth consists not in having great possessions but in having few wants.
Epicurus

Don't go browsing in malls. Chances are you'll wind up spending money on stuff you know you don't need and cant afford at the moment, and you'll be upset with your self for not having control.

Pack your own lunch to work. This way you not only curb your spending but will help you to make healthier choices.

Cut down on soft drinks/sodas. At $5 - $6 a bottle every day you're spending on average around $1825 a year on something that's not even good for you!!! Homemade juice or water is cheaper and definately better.

Cut down your list of wants.
Compile a budget and try to stick to it. That's why you wrote it down... to remind yourself that you have no money to spend wildly @ the moment.

Carpool! This is a very practical but effective way to save money. Instead of spending money to fill up or to travel, organize a lift with your neighbor or friend or even better if your husband's got a car but leaves earlier no problem take it any way you'll be early and have your money still.

Compile a budget, so that you know your expenses and your salary. This will help you to determine how much money you have left to spend on any given category. Remember saving will become a habit if u practice it.

Stop using Credit Cards!!! Especially if you have a lot of debt, using credit cards do more harm than anything else, cause you are already broke and the credit card company is making a fortune out of your circumstance.

Remember to prioritize, especially if you have kids cause if you don't and  you end up jobless your family may suffer so save for those rainy days. Good luck!!!
